BREAKING NEWS
I am again having my head
shaved in a fund raising effort for the St. Baldrick's Foundation
for kids and their families with childhood cancer. You heard it
right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have
cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while at the
same time raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!
In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other
disease. It's getting very close to St. Baldrick's Day on
Saturday, March 10th at Napper Tandy's Pub in Northport** and I
haven't heard from many of you. I would appreciate if you
could do me a favor and make a donation in any amount to this
worthwhile cause. Please make a donation on my behalf to
support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed
with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
To
make a donation, please visit my St. Baldrick's web page at http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/shavee_info.html?ShaveeID=4536
and click on
"Donate Online" or "Download a Donation Form" to send in by mail. Or
you can just make out a check to the "St. Baldrick's Foundation" and
send directly to me at 137 Express Street, Plainview, NY 11803-2404.
Make sure you write "Shavee ID 4536" in the memo section of your
check. Thank you in advance for your support!
